Today I'm writing to you from Paris, France! I'm here to watch some tennis.
My teaser, however, has nothing to do with either Paris or tennis. :) It is from p. 34 of The Osiris Ritual by George Mann:
"Whilst waiting, Newbury has been considering the events of the previous evening, mulling over the details of the things he'd seen and trying to ascertain what it was, specifically, that had made him uneasy about Winthrop's unrolling of the Theban mummy. It was certainly more than the revelation that the man had been mummified alive."
