Talkative Tuesday - Under Construction

So currently I am trying to figure out a new and exciting way to do Talkative Tuesday each week....while right now I am running on very few brain cells, it's taking a while.

With work picking up like you wouldn't believe, kids, the gym, trying to read, review, entertain....it's all becoming slightly overwhelming at times. It's also starting to become apparent that I need to add a little bit of spice to my Talkative Tuesday bit....so I'm off to the brain-storming section of my mind to come up with amazing, fun ideas!

When I return from this foreign place you will know, because I'm coming back with a BANG!

Oh man, what a morning! Tuesdays are turning into the new Monday for me....such chaos!

Today I'm introducing a great new blog who's name I absolutely LOVE!

5 days into April, and it's been a whirlwind already!

Thankfully I'm introducing you to a blogger who is a spitfire! With her 3 year blogaversary coming up on Friday I thought it would be fitting to shine the light one her this week.

Everyone say hi to Natasha, who created Wicked Lil Pixie. Reading, review, contests, and random thoughts all fall into the pages of her blog. I think the main thing that truly draws me to it is the fact that she's as outspoken as I am. There's no candy coating, and sometimes there's even a failure to censor things that are said. (Which I love)

Talkative Tuesday 3/1/11

Morning, Morning, Morning! Hope the new month has been good to you so far, yes all 8 and half hours of it. It's been slight chaos with a twist of crazy for me, but I love it!

This week I want to introduce the lovely ladies from, Smart Bitches, Trashy Books. Both Candy & Sarah have a love of romance novels, whether it's historical, paranormal, or just contemporary, they don't discriminate. Their blunt and honest opinions have granted them the honor of appearing in a wide range of publications from People Magazine, to The New York Times. With a TRULY honest grading system they have set the bar for numerous bloggers & reviewers. I for one enjoy reading their reviews because they seem to truly hold nothing back, and I love that!

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacccccccckkkkkkk!! And boy does it feel good! After 7 days out of town, sleeping in someone elses bed, I am SO happy to be home & at work.

First order of business, Talkative Tuesday. I can't help but laugh every time I read Crazy Book Slut's blog, it's the name that just makes me smirk. She brings her great personality & opinions to her blog everyday. With reviews, previews, giveaways and more, she somehow manages to pull it all together with ease.

I want to introduce you all to Dark Divas Reviews this week. They're a very extensive team of creative individuals, who manage to bring so many different and interesting P.O.V's to their blog without it being all over the place.

Welcome back! Once again it's Tuesday, and that means I'm picking one of my outstanding fellow bloggers to introduce you all to!

This week I'm introduce some very lovely ladies from across the pond who make up Book Chick City blog. Carolyn originally founded the blog in July of 2009, and now has Laura & Jo as regular reviewers who help her with her massive reading load. One thing that I really like about BCC is that they cater to not only their fellow UK readers, but the ones who are here in the states too!

They have more reading challenges then I've seen on any other blog, which makes it nice for all their followers to find one that fits them. But of all the great things that go on over at BBB  blog, their feature called, "Cover Crush",  is one of my favorites. They find unique and interesting covers and write a little about them, and what makes them crush worthy.....and I do LOVE a great cover!

Talkative Tuesday 1/25/11

Welcome back!! Another week down, only a lot left to go....

Oh man, this past week I felt like I was in a whirl-wind trying to get everything done for this week! It's sheer craziness, but thank goodness I have a great blogger lined up already. (It just makes my job that much easier)

Larissa's Bookish Life, is probably one of my favorite blogs that I follow personally. In 2009, after having her friends constantly bug about what's good to read, she founded, Welcome to Larissa's Bookish Life, and hasn't looked back since. Her reviews are honest, and never sugar coated, there are always amazing contests, that usually involves a signed copy from the author. Plus I think I'm slightly in love with the fact that she's Brazilian too, lol.

Talkative Tuesday 1/18/11

Yes, it's that time of the week again! TALKATIVE TUESDAY! Where is this month going? Seriously, doesn't it seem like yesterday was the 1st? Crazy!

Anyways, now onto the good stuff.....

The Thoughts of a Book Junky originally grabbed my attention with their blog header. Yes, I'm guilty, judging "book" by the cover....again. It's like a guilty pleasure (I love an amazing book cover). Once I started reading the articles, reviews, weekly quotes, and of course the FMN (Forget-me-not), it was Steph's point of view completely had my attention. She's honest and tells you exactly what she loves, and doesn't for that matter. I think the fact that both of our reading interest were re-sparked by Twilight really made me gravitate towards her blog even more!

Blah, Blah, Blah....yep it's Tuesday again ALREADY! Thus remembering, that just means it's one day closer to FRIDAY!!! 

Can't believe that it's the second week in January though...next thing ya know it'll be Valentine's day, then 4th of July, then Christmas again!

Any hoot....this week I'd like to introduce everyone to Natasha over at Enchanted Ramblings. An Aussie blogger who just started voicing her opinions in October of 2010.  She has quiet the impressive following,  loves mystical, paranormal, historical, romantical (OK, so maybe I made that word up, but you get the point), basically anything with a good story will find it's way to her page. Oh, and beware of some random posting too, which I love! :)

Natasha's great, always staying up on the latest news regarding her favorite authors & books. Always count on her to put her wonderful opinion and P.O.V. on everything she likes, and doesn't like for that matter.

Talkative Tuesday 1/4/11

Whoa, first Talkative Tuesday in 2 weeks, annnnnnnnnnd first one of the New Year?! Good thing I'm kicking this one off with a bang! (notice the new TT (Talkative Tuesday) brand above? Pretty cool huh!)

Figuring out who to feature this week was actually very easy. The lovely ladies over at Paperback Dolls have inspired me for quiet a while to expand my horizions & work harder to achieve great things with my own personal blog. So who better to shine the spot light on then the Paperback Dolls.

Paperback Dolls consist of 6 Friends brought together by a love of books & views that need to be voiced. Though they're from different background, they share one common love, books.

Their reviews are honest, and really just make me want to run to the store & grab the book they were talking about. Then their giveaways make me want to break into their vault and steal the goodies & prizes. Everytime I view their page something new and exciting catches my eye. Whether it's a future guest post or a new review, there is always something.

New year, BETTER BLOG

Happy New Year to everyone! Hope you holidays were amazing & enjoyable. Mine were great and taking a week off really helped energize me...not that I need more energy, lol.

After my small hiatus this last week, I'm back with great news & some wonderful up-coming reviews!

1. Towards the end of the month I'm going to be interviewing author, Stacey Kennedy, regarding her release of, First and Last, the 4th book in her Magical Sword series. (Amazing series)

2. I'm going to try to post at least 3 reviews within the next 2 weeks! I have so much on my plate, but I have two amazing authors who have sent me copies of their books and I plan to get them out ASAP.

3. Honestly, I need to start networking more and visiting more blogs. I know that I do my, Talkative Tuesday, feature each week.....but I need to keep up on fellow bloggers contests, challenges, etc., so I can take notes on how they make it work!

These are just a few of the goals that I have set for myself & this blog over the next year. Be prepared for UH-MAZE-ING things to come!

Talkative Tuesday 12/14/10

Less then 2 weeks until Christmas! Holy Moley!

While I've been trying, oh so hard, to get my holiday shopping done, I've truly been fighting with myself on which amazing blog to feature today & next week.....it can get really frustrating arguing with yourself, trust me.

Finally it dawned on me, hallelujah! I ALWAYS see Fiction Vixen Book Reviews on my Facebook either, giveaway great books by amazing authors, or reviewing the books I love! So there was my answer, right in front of my eyes.

With an unrelenting appetite for romance novels, Sophia decided to start Fiction Vixen Book Reviews in August 2009. Now her site has turned into a great place to find, read-alongs, discussions, giveaways, and honest reviews. (Plus the fact that the Fever Series, by Karen Marie Moning, is one of her all time favorite series too is great!)

So as I ask you all every week, hop on over to the Fiction Vixen website, "Like" her Facebook & even follow her on Twitter. Fiction Vixen could possibly introduce you to an author or series that you never knew about. Hope you enjoy her site as much as I do!

Talkative Tuesday 12/7/10

Thank god for Talkative Tuesday! I am in desperate need of a quick break from all this holiday madness. Don't get me wrong I LOVE this time of year, but I seem to be in some sort of holiday funk.

One thing that I am thankful for this holiday season is the discovery of an amazing blog called, Parajunkee's View. Not only does the site review all of our favorite books & give you the true nitty gritty on them, but they offer blogging advice.

If you cruise over to their Book Bloggin 101 section, they have answers to all those beginner blogging questions that you're constantly searching the "help" section for. The cool thing is, you don't receive a generic response or answer. Rachel, who runs Parajunkee's View, gives you her view on everything. She suggests what has worked for her in the past, or how she went about deciding what was best for her site & what might work for you.

This blog has not only entertained me with some amazing reviews, but has helped me shape my site into what it is today.
