Chapter 27: Library Loot

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Eva and Marg that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. It seems to be a rule rather than an exception that reserved books arrive in groups! :) Thus I've had an especially good library week! Here is my loot:

• Challenge by Vita Sackville-West

• The Year of the Flood by Margaret Atwood
• One Day by David Nicholls

• The Gourmet by Muriel Barbery
• Four Short Stories by Elizabeth Gaskell

Gaskell's stories and maybe also Chevalier I will read for The Women Unbound Challenge. Sackville-West's novel is a possible addition to my GLBT reading list. The Gourmet is The Elegance of the Hedgehog writer Muriel Barbery's first novel. Petina Gappah will be the first Zimbabwean writer whose work I've ever read.
